The NCPG Board of Directors provide leadership and expertise to help build NCPG Membership, guide policies, implement strategies and achieve organizational growth to serve all those affected by problem gambling.

Susan Sheridan Tucker, President
Susan Sheridan Tucker earned her degree in English Literature and Political Science from NYU after working on Wall Street to support her way through school. She was in the first class in which trading options was part of the licensing curriculum, which was her first exposure to gambling.?Susan received her master’s in Urban Planning at Hunter College and began a career as a planning consultant. Susan worked to support accessible housing, environmental sustainability and other local projects.
Since then, Susan’s career has focused on nonprofit management, building organizations and advocating for those with diminished voice. Susan has worked with several organizations including the Minnesota Alliance on Problem Gambling, where she currently serves as Executive Director.
Susan and her husband moved to Minnesota in 1992, where they raised two daughters. Susan is active in her church, and enjoys traveling, cycling and gardening in her spare time. Currently, Susan serves as the President of the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Affiliates Seat (2023-2026).
Raquel Buari, JD, Vice President
Raquel Buari, JD is the Executive Vice President for Four Winds Casinos, owned and operated by the Pokagon Band. She has worked for Four Winds since 2009 and has held various leadership roles in Legal, Compliance and Human Resources. Raquel served on the Planning Committee for the first NCPG Tribal Summit on Responsible Gaming in 2017 and serves as the Board liaison to the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee.
From South Bend, Indiana, Raquel graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Legal Studies and Political Science and earned her JD from Valparaiso University School of Law. She is a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Raquel resides in the South Bend area with her husband and four beautiful children.
Raquel serves as the current Vice President of the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Organizational Seat (2022-2025).
Derek Longmeier, Treasurer
Derek Longmeier is the Executive Director of the Problem Gambling Network of Ohio. In this role, he co-chairs the Infrastructure Committee of Ohio for Responsible Gambling’s Problem Gambling Service Advisory Board. Derek has attained certification from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant. He holds an MBA from Ohio Dominican University, a BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University, and a Certificate in Social Enterprise from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
Currently, Derek serves as the Treasurer for the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Affiliates Seat (2024-2027).
Heather Chapman, PhD, Secretary
Dr. Heather?Chapman?is a clinical psychologist, an International Certified Gambling Counselor and Board Certified Clinical Consultant for the National Council on Problem Gambling, and a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. She is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University, and Director of the Gambling Treatment Program at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, the leader of gambling treatment, research, training and consultation for the Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense. Treating thousands people struggling with gambling for over 25 years, her biggest teachers have been the veterans seeking help with open hearts, tremendous trust, and desire for change. This work has lead her into the study and treatment of the psychology of change, the impact of trauma, and the treatment engagement and retention for those struggling with gambling.
Currently, Dr.?Chapman?serves as the Secretary for the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Individuals Seat (2022-2025).
Tammi Barlow
Tammi M. Barlow-Marang brings nearly fifteen years of expertise in building and managing responsible gaming, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability programs for leading companies in the gaming industry. As a seasoned executive, she has a proven track record of developing successful programs that comply with regulatory requirements and enhance communities globally.
In her current role as Vice President of Global Responsible Gaming at Bally’s Corporation, Tammi drives the execution of Bally’s global responsible gaming, ESG, and community impact strategies. She implements initiatives that foster a culture of responsibility among employees at all levels, aligning with the Bally’s brand.
Tammi’s career in the gaming industry began as the Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Northstar Lottery Group, LLC, and has held subsequent CSR and ESG roles with IGT, William Hill US, Caesars Entertainment, and Rush Street Interactive. In 2021, she served as a subject matter expert on Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak’s Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling. Prior to her work in gaming, Tammi worked in health and human services in Chicago for 13 years with a focus on international development in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Tammi is passionate about gaming industry initiatives that support prevention, education, awareness, and representation. She proudly serves on the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MCGH) Board of Directors, and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) Board of Directors and holds an Organizational Seat (2024-2027). Additionally, she is an executive member of the African Americans in Gaming Steering Committee and a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for Global Gaming Women.
Mary Drexler
Mary Drexler, MSW is the Program Director for the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling. Ms. Drexler holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut. She brings 45 years’ experience in the social services field with 18 years in specific problem gambling prevention and intervention, during which she served as Executive Director of the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling.
As Assistant Director and then Executive Director of the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling, she oversaw the operations of the Council, including managing initiatives in problem gambling prevention, awareness, and intervention. Since 2017, as Program Director for the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling, Ms. Drexler has been responsible for the oversight of the Center’s initiatives in problem gambling prevention, awareness, treatment, peer support, and public policy. Prior to joining The Center in 2017, Ms. Drexler held the position of Responsible Gambling Program Coordinator for three years for the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA). Mary also has over 20 years’ experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
Mary currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Organizational Seat (2023-2026).
Diana Goode
Diana has been the Executive Director of the ?CT Council on Problem Gambling since May 2018. She brought 25 years of leadership experience and passion in the nonprofit sector to the important work of raising awareness about problem and responsible gambling. She currently serves as an active member of the National Council on Problem Gambling’s Affiliates Committee.
Diana previously held executive-level positions with non-profits in the CT area, focusing on poverty and financial literacy. Diana is a graduate of Dartmouth College, received an MBA in Finance and Marketing from UCONN and lives in the Greater Hartford area.
Diana currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds interim appointment (2024-2025) to an Affiliates seat (2024-2027).
Christina Gray
Maureen Greeley
Maureen Greeley has worked in the Problem and Responsible Gambling Field with and for the Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling (ECPG) for 26 years.? She began her work in responsible gambling in 1998 as the Communications Director for the Washington State Lottery.? In 2006, Greeley accepted the role of Executive Director for ECPG. Maureen has also worked with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) since 1999, and will completed 10 years of service on the NCPG Board in 2024, including serving as President for multiple terms.
In 2018, Greeley received NCPG’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Advocacy – recognizing dedication to improving the lives of individuals impacted by problem gambling and their families through advocacy, training, and public awareness.? Thanks to the wonderful work of a passionate team, ECPG has been awarded the NCPG Multicultural Communications Award multiple times for the most effective multicultural outreach program using integrated communication channels.
Maureen currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Affiliates Seat (2023-2026).
Felicia Grondin
Felicia Grondin is the Executive Director of the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey. Felicia has held positions in the private sector, higher education and the executive, judicial and legislative branches of state government. She is experienced in addressing public policy and gambling industry issues and conducted a variety of related research initiatives over the last 30 years. During her career Felicia received millions of dollars in grant funds for a variety of projects via her employment in the public sector and her former public relations consultancy, ArchAngel Agency International, LLC. Felicia earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers – Newark and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stockton University.
Felicia currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Affiliates Seat (2024-2025).
Wiley Harwell
Marc Potenza, MD, PhD
Dr. Potenza is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in addiction psychiatry. His research focuses on how behavioral addictions are similar to and different from substance addictions, for which he has won numerous accolades. He currently works as a professor of Psychiatry at Yale University in the Child Study Center and Neuroscience. Dr. Potenza also serves as the Director at Yale’s Center of Excellence in Gambling Research and at the Yale Program for Research on Impulsivity and Impulse Control Disorders, as well as at the Director for Women and Addictive Disorders at the Yale Women’s Health Research Center. He also serves as Senior Scientist at the Connecticut Council on Problem Gambling.
Dr. Potenza received the NCPG Lifetime Research Award in 2016 for his work on gambling and addiction. He currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Individuals Seat (2023-2026).
Vena Schexnayder
“Creating change by challenging narratives.” Vena Schexnayder, Arkansas Problem Gambling Council Founder and Executive Director, has over ten years of counseling and business development experience in addiction treatment and recovery. She communicates with strategic stakeholders to create meaningful connections within various health care and governmental agencies.
Vena received her Masters of Social Work, MSW from Louisiana State University. Masters in Criminal Justice, Policy Administration from the University of Arkansas Little Rock with a graduate certification in Conflict Mediation. Vena holds her Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Counseling certification from Northern Virginia College.
Vena currently serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Affiliates Seat (2023-2026). She is also the current Chair of the NCPG Affiliates Committee.
Jeff Wasserman, JD
Jeff Wasserman was a practicing attorney in Delaware for nearly 33 years. In August 2015, he transitioned to disability inactive status due to a gambling disorder. Jeff earned a BS in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island, a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) and an International Certified Gambling Counselor (ICGC-I).
Jeff serves as the Judicial Outreach and Development Director for the Delaware Council on Gambling Problems, where he leads initiatives to raise awareness of gambling addiction within the criminal justice system. In 2019, he founded the Problem Gambling Support Group (PGSG), which provides online meetings for individuals seeking gambling abstinence. Today, PGSG has nearly 200 members from around the world, with a significant portion being under the age of thirty. Jeff also offers individual peer support services and answers calls on a problem gambling helpline. Additionally, he volunteers with Pennsylvania Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and the Delaware Lawyers Assistance Program.
Jeff has been a presenter for various organizations and institutions, including the Arizona Department of Gaming, Delaware State Bar Association, Montana State Bar Association, the National Council on Problem Gambling, Delaware Law School, and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals. He has been interviewed by local and national news outlets on the topic of problem gambling and co-hosts All In: The Addicted Gambler’s Podcast. Currently, Jeff serves on the NCPG Board of Directors, holding an Affiliates Seat (2022-2025).
David Yeager
Dave is an eleven-year veteran of the United States Army, and in recovery for a gambling addiction. Dave uses his story and knowledge of gambling, particularly in the military and veteran communities, to raise awareness. Dave has provided gambling disorder training to clinicians for the United States Marine Corps, as well as US Navy Cadets at UC Boulder and the US Airforce Academy in Colorado. Dave works directly with clients as a recovery coach/counselor.
Dave is the host of Fall In, The Problem Gambling Podcast for Military Service Members and Veterans and the author of Fall In, A Veteran with a Gambling Addiction. Currently, Dave serves on the NCPG Board of Directors and holds an Individuals Seat (2024-2027).
